I spent about a half hour talking with Adam Novitt yesterday. About 5 years ago he did a very entertaining video about the Taranov Split – which would be an easy and effective way to move bees from your existing hives (Langstroth perhaps) into the Layen’s style Ez-Bees hive. It would also help you multiply hives in a way that mimics natural swarming. I’m hoping to do a Zoom interview with Adam for some Q&A. Here is the video –
